Reliance Jio has launched a prepaid plan priced at Rs 10,000, offering 3 years of connectivity through a single recharge. The plan bundles unlimited voice calls, daily high-speed data, unlimited 5G access, and digital services, including a JioHotstar subscription and 50GB of cloud storage.
The plan, available across India from November 7, 2026, is aimed at customers who want long-term connectivity without having to recharge frequently. But does it offer value for money, and is it worth paying Rs 10,000 upfront? Here's what subscribers need to know.
The plan works out to approximately Rs 278 per month, or around Rs 9.13 per day, over its 3-year validity.
The biggest advantage of the plan is that customers can pay once and access its connectivity benefits for 3 years. It also bundles entertainment, design, and cloud storage services, reducing the need for separate subscriptions to these services.
The plan includes a JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood subscription, 12 months of Canva Pro Lite and 50GB of JioAICloud storage for documents, photographs and other files.
Another advantage is the potential savings compared with Jio's annual prepaid recharge. For instance, purchasing the Rs 3,599 annual plan three times would cost Rs 10,797 over 3 years. The new plan is therefore Rs 797 cheaper over the same period, based on recharge costs.
However, the comparison does not mean that every subscriber will benefit equally. Customers need to consider whether they will use the bundled digital services and whether they are comfortable paying the entire amount upfront.
There are also a few limitations to consider. The Canva Pro Lite subscription is valid for only 12 months, rather than the full three years. Unlimited 5G access is subject to eligibility, including having a compatible device and being within Jio's 5G coverage area.
The plan may therefore appeal to customers who intend to remain with Jio for the next 3 years and regularly use its data and digital services. Those who prefer flexibility or are unsure about staying with the operator may find a shorter-validity recharge more suitable.

Subscribers should check the plan's terms and eligibility conditions before making the Rs 10,000 payment.
